Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) is a procedure designed to eliminate instability and relieve pain in the lower back and lower extremeties by inserting an implant in the disc space with bone graft. Screws and rods are placed to stabilize the spine during the fusion process.
