Advanced Bioactive Synthetic
Cove™ Strip is an advanced bioactive synthetic graft and is comprised of a biphasic ceramic granule, consisting of 70% β-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP) and 30% hydroxyapatite (HA), and a highly purified type-1 collagen derived from bovine flexor tendon. The biphasic ceramic granule promotes bone formation through engineered surface microporosity.1 The ceramic granule combined with the integrity of crosslinked type-1 collagen leads to a finished product with intraoperative strength and flexibility while maintaining postoperative graft volume.1
